El Caminante is away from the typical, favors the wanderer, and invites the unknown. Time passes slower here; experiences are new and savored. The hot sand and cool ocean are a metaphor for the juxtaposition of timeless Spanish Colonial Revival design, bespoke services, and modern amenities. Stepping onto the property, one can’t help but hear the voice of the area’s past speaking to a spirit of discovery and providing an invitation to slow down and exist in the moment.
Founded by a local artists guild, the vision for El Caminante was inspired by this beautiful poem.
